Google has gone the extra mile once again to make life easier for everyone! Mac and PC users join forces for the greater good and spread the word to download the Google Pack - Such a great way to get all the popular software you need in only a few clicks. Pretty slick, thanks Google!

The 3 things I appreciate the most about how Google has packaged this software are this:
1) Download, Installation and Setup of multiple popular favorite programs takes as little as 3 clicks.
2) Managing installation and configuration of each application becomes automated, versus installing and configuring these programs independently of the Google Updater.
3) Google Updater automatically keeps them up to date so you always have the best experience possible.
Software the Google Pack has currently available with it:
Google Desktop, a great utility for any Googler
Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer
Google Photos Screensaver, which displays pictures from your computer as your screensaver
Google Earth, an electronic globe
Google Talk, an instant messaging and Voice over IP (VoIP) application
Google Video Player, a multi-media player (I think this was removed from the Pack…)
Google Chrome, a free web browser developed by Google that is VERY similar to the Apple Safari browser
Picasa, a photograph organizer and editor
Mozilla Firefox with Google Toolbar
Spyware Doctor Starter Edition
Norton Security Scan
Adobe Reader
RealPlayer
GalleryPlayer
Skype, a VoIP application
Google Pack uses the Google Updater program to assist in downloading, installing, removing and automatically updating the Pack’s programs and the Google Updater can be uninstalled without removing applications.
